A “monohull” offers an exciting “tilt with the wind” sailing experience, while a “dual hull catamaran” has more spacious common areas and a flat, smoother voyage. Other considerations include the number and size of sleeping areas, heads (bathrooms), and amenities from sun decks to galley size. The photos of yachts below are examples of possibilities. There are a wide variety of floor plans, privacy considerations and budget, with sizes depending upon the number in your group, from two to eight guests plus your captain/crew/chef.
